Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Draftsman with experience in roads and utilities projects. The candidate will support the engineering team in preparing and updating technical drawings for infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing drawings, layouts, and plans for road and utility projects
Modify and update drawings based on engineer instructions
Ensure accuracy and consistency in all drafting work
Coordinate with senior draftsmen and engineers for design updates
Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
Follow company and project drafting standards
Requirements:
Diploma or relevant qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2+ years of experience in roads and utilities/infrastructure projects
Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD
Understanding of construction drawings and standards
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to infrastructure or road projects
Familiarity with local authority requirements is an advantage
